Our team of psychometrists allows us to ensure that your child's case is seen from every angle, leaving no stone unturned. Having multiple perspectives also helps reduce human error and increase efficiency. Our psychometrists are dedicated Doctoral trainees well into their academic careers, with experience and training in assessment administration, scoring, and data interpretation. They work directly under the supervision and training of Dr. Kat.
Ms. Kopelman has been working as a psychometrist since January 2020, gaining experience in testing and assessment across diverse populations and ages in West Virginia and Massachusetts. Having always enjoyed being around children, she worked as a prekindergarten teacher throughout college. This exposed her to children in differing stages of development and allowed her to gain insight to kids in their everyday lives.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minors in Communication Studies and Family & Youth from West Virginia University, Ms. Kopelman pursued a Master of Science in Applied Psychology from Northeastern University, before becoming a Psychology Trainee in the Doctor of Psychology program at Nova Southeastern University. Currently, she is preparing for her first practicum rotation in the Adult Services Clinic, where she will conduct individual and group therapy with adult clients.
Ms. Kopelman is excited to be on the team at Clear Mind Assessments, where her experience and dedication to working with neurodiverse children and adults will continue to grow.
Emma Berzofsky is currently a Psychology Trainee at Nova Southeastern University's Doctor of Clinical Psychology program. Entering her second year, she will be receiving extensive training at the School-Related Psychological Assessments and Clinical Interventions Program. Ms. Berzofsky has years of experience working in clinical and research settings with a variety of populations. Previously, she served as a research assistant for two years, and has worked on various projects researching youth anxiety in home and classroom settings. Part of her research also included monitoring infants and children at risk of behavioral problems. Additionally, she has worked as a scribe and office assistant at a psychological center, where she gained exposure to individuals presenting with various conditions across the lifespan. Last, Ms. Berzofsky was a counselor for children ages 3-6 with severe social anxiety and selective mutism and aided them in learning social and coping skills.
